Indonesian Blogger party (Pesta Blogger) is coming this month…… I was in Australia when I start blogging and this year I am back to Indonesia, its been interesting back in my own country, the blogging fever in Indonesia is just getting started, based on last year the number of blogger is increase by 100%.

Last year the Indo Blogger Community made the first Blogger party (national scale) on 27 Oktober 2007 in Jakarta, and then on that date the Information and Communication Minister “Muhammad Nuh” state that 27 Oct is National Blog Day for Indonesia.

Jakarta would host this year’s national blogger gathering on Saturday, heralding the theme “Blogging for Society”, This Gathering event would be held in the BPPT II building on Jl M.H. Thamrin, Central Jakarta. And the gathering would be attended by the U.S. ambassador to Indonesia Cameron R. Hume.

Merdeka!!!!!! today Indonesian celebrate Independence Day,  and last night Our Champion on Olympic Games win a Gold medal on Badminton sport, what a great present for Indonesia’s Birthday.  Picture above is our first President Soekarno, when he first time declare or New Proclamation for our Independence. With this New age we have the NEW spirit to fight, not for the Country Independence but fight to achieve More prosperity for the People of Indonesia.  Go Indonesia!!!!!!!!

This morning I checked my email and I got email from friendster about my friend birthday, then I notice new sidebar on the left side, said “Friendster now available in Indonesian” hmm interesting… from that many languages Indonesian become one of choices in Friendster. So what that mean? it have to be Many Indonesian On Friendster!!! Believe it or not, most Teenager in Indonesia have a friendster account. How to prove it? easy…. say you just meet friend from Indo (he/she know internet and age under 30) get their email address and search it on friendster 80% chance you find his/her profile on Friendster.

Friendster have special market in Indonesia than any other social online community like MySpace, Hi5 and Facebook. They also have special Indonesian Ads for Indo Market they know the Sleeping Giant Market has HUGE potential and they not just aim on it, but already take an action for this market.

Look at above flash ads, that ads already written in Bahasa Indonesia… If you want to target Indonesian online market… then you know where to advertise your ads first. Indonesia is big country and internet is getting cheaper now in Indonesia, within Next 5 years it will become serious market for online business…
