Recently I got a client list and I need to send fax to them about some seminar, but the problem is I have around 100 list and it kind of lazy to fax it one by one….
. I know I am a Lazy person, thats why I am thinking How to automate this? it would be fun if you only need to press one button to send all the fax.
Then I remember that when I bought Dial-up Modem it said Modem and Fax (something like that.. I forgot) then I found on Google how to do it using Windows XP…. so what you have to do?
1. You need to have a dial-up modem the cheap one will do.
2. Install the modem driver into your modem
3. Setting Up and Configuring Windows XP Fax. The fax service isn’t automatically installed in Windows XP. To install the fax component:
a. Open Control Panel, and click Add or Remove Programs.
b. Click Add/Remove Windows Components. Select the Fax Services check box, and then click Next. The Windows Component Wizard takes care of the rest.
Note: If you don’t have a modem already installed, take care of that now. Make sure the modem is connected to a phone line and the phone line is connected to a working jack. (You’d be surprised how often folks overlook these details.)
