Get traffic from Technorati Favourites eXchange April 10

Back to Technorati again, after testing on how to increase Alexa Traffic Rank, now its time to get traffic on Technorati Favourites eXchange (TFX). Dosh Dosh bring up this topic Ultimate Technorati Favorites Exchange: An Interactive Experiment, I think it worth to test, and I will have the same rules with Dosh Dosh.

Here are the steps you can take to participate:

  1. Participate by Exchanging Favorites
    Favorite my blog on Technorati by clicking add Fav on my sidebar or clicking here.And then put your username and link for your blog I suggest to make something like this “http://technorati.com/faves?sub=addfavbtn&add=http://askax.net”. Please leave 1 blog only for 1 username.
  2. Get link back if you link to this blog post with your Post on Technorati Favorites eXchange
    Create your own post in your blog that you participate on TFX (Technorati Favourites eXchange) and include the link of this post.After I noticed your post from trackback or Technorati I will include your blog post in this topic, so anyone can participate with you as well. You don’t have to worry if this post will be lost on archive as I will continually to do deep linking or maybe put small button on my sidebar, to keep this up.

If you found that your website is not listed or I haven’t listed you as my fav please let me know by contact me or leave message here.

Update: As Technorati didn’t show up our Fav Rank anymore, I suggest you to participate on second task, this link back can increase you Authority and your technorati rank.

Here cites from Technorati;

Technorati Authority is the number of blogs linking to a website in the last six months. The higher the number, the more Technorati Authority the blog has.

It is important to note that we measure the number of blogs, rather than the number of links. So, if a blog links to your blog many times, it still only count as +1 toward your authority. Of course, new links mean the +1 will last another 180 days.

Technorati Rank is calculated based on how far you are from the top. The blog with the hightest Technorati Authority is the #1 ranked blog. The smaller your Technorati Rank, the closer you are to the top.

It says “Get link back if you link to this blog post with your Post on Technorati Favorites eXchange”. which means you must create your TFX page and put link every participant on the list.
