How to get Google Page Rank 1 within a week March 19

This happen Last month when I start this blog (askax.net), it use to be my portfolio website, but since my last domain provider forget to send me an email and its expired, so when I got my domain name back I move my blog from friendster blog to my own hosting blog using wordpress. I’ve been playing on SEO and trying to get Google Pagerank and I get Rank 2 on my forum within 3 month, well not bad for starter….. then I applied what I did to my forum to this blog, this is the key to get PageRank On Google. “use Google Product“. And surprisingly I get PageRank 1 within a week.
This is what you have to do to get page rank within a week.
- Sign-up Google Analytics to track your website statistic.
Google robots will spider your website quickly usually within 1-2 days - Use Google Sitemap plugin for wordpress, to notify Google the pages that you have.
- Add your website Google Webmaster (add the sitemap that generate by plugin above)
- Submit your website/blog to Google add URL.
- Upload the content frequently
at that time I move the blog from friendster and I post around 10 post a day, its really tired to move all of those manually :p. - Search your own website using Google until it appear no 1 on Google using your own keyword and click your own website. I constantly search for “askax” on Google untill the AskaX.net appear no 1 on the index, as I use sell a lot on ebay most of the search link coming from ebay, I click askax.net until it become the top of the page search.
- Sign up for Google Adsense and put that into your website.
the Adsense script usually spidering keywords of your website to show related ads, it just like telling Google “take a look what inside of my web”. - Digg your own post and share the link on delicious.
Digg only the interesting post for your blog, like this Not Just Me Even Google Forgets to renew google.de and Microsoft Forget To renew hotmail.co.uk . I got 100 view from Digg for this articles. - Keep on updating your content, after all Google only search the new update website. Remember what John Chow Said “Don’t have anything to write about? Then you’re not looking hard enough“
- Use Google toolbar and constantly check for PageRank.

I found some difficulties as well raising my blog on blogspot, because on blogspot the domain is not on top domain level. I found this really stressing as well. I advise is to get your own domain name and hosting your own website, or move your blog to wordpress.com as wordpress is better on indexing rather than blogger.
The way to increase Page rank on blogspot is to get more inbound link. you can comment more on popular website like john chow and problogger to get visitor .
As for digg I said only digg the interesting post, someone probably bury your story because maybe its duplicate or plagiarism see digg faq here http://digg.com/faq

you only need to login into digg.com and submit story, put your own post link and put a bit of description on it.

Thanks a lot for your post! I hope it actually works, since I really need to get a PR1 for my PPP Program to be more effective than it is now with a PR0. Only thingI haven’t done is the sitemap thing, how will that influence anything?
Also, what if my Blog is in http://www.javieraltman.com.ar/blog ? Does it inherit the PR of the main site? Thanks

Javier: sitemap is the important one, as it notified google if you have new post or any change on your blog. I don’t think it will inherit on main site, but it depend on how people link to your site as well. Wish all the best for your site

Thanks for your answer! However, I can’t seem to get the sitemap plugin to work. I’ve messed around with all of the CHMOD options in the FTP to try to get it to write the .xml files and I even created the files for it, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Alright nevermind! I tried CHMOD-ing two empty .xml and .xml.gz files and gave them CHMOD 0777 and it worked

I thought about updating my blogs once in two days. But as you say I rather have update it 10 times a day.
I had a plan to write some articles and submit them to article directories to create links to my blog.
Any way I will do my best to get a pr3 for my blog. Thanks for your tips.

You seem to be telling that posting ten blogs per day will definitely get a page rank. The thought of getting a page rank really motivates me think about writing 10 blogs per day.
But I had seen at some places people telling that to get a page rank you must need links from a high page rank websites. These days many blogs are using software to make the links in our comments to have nofollow tags which results in no credit for the link in terms of search engine.
But I will take your suggestion and try to do as many posts per day as possible. I have already registered my blog for the google analytics program. Now the only thing that is left is to do as many posts as frequently.

No follow taq is a default on wordpress blog, but you can disable it using do follow plugin.
Yes to get a Page rank you need a link back from popular website, thats why networking is the most important on building page rank. maybe you can start join our Technorati Exchange, and make sure you contact each blog that list this exchange to get link back.
Another way you can also participate on reviewing popular blog like johnchow.com to get a free link back.

I don’t think it is any tough thing to review others’ blogs for getting a backlink. As I used to do some blog advertising tasks I got some idea on doing such things.
Previously I had a community blog on writingup.com. Unfortunately the server is down due to heavy load as the admins say. When I started at that site, there was no page rank. But over time and I didn’t know when it got page ranks. I was getting many blog ad tasks. I didn’t realize that it was because of the page rank that my own blog in that community has inherited. By the time I realized it (as some advertisers required pr3+ blogs) the server started crashing. By the end of June. Writingup became writingdown.
Ofcourse at that time I used to post 5-10 posts in a week. Or once in a week in the worst case.
I feel so sad now that I never thought about getting backlinks for my blogspot blogs. It feels like a child who had all the oppurtunity but never considered it. Many bloggers there were using links at the bottom of their posts.
After knowing all this I am getting a lot of motivation to regularly post. Thanks for wishing me goodluck.

This is a good idea. I had also checked the page rank of that post which has the backlinks. It was 4. Then it is very useful to do reviews for backlinks.

Great post. I too have tried to get a pagerank of at least one but so far I haven’t been able to. I’ve posted regularly and even gotten on a few blog rolls but nothing yet. Oh well I’ll keep trying.

Hi Andika Kusuma,
I am presently posting only one post per day after I came to know that google has already update page ranks. Two of my blogs got a page rank of 0. Others are still grey.
What I had observed the difference of these from other blogs is that I had posted three posts in a span of 10 minutes for two times at those two blogs. That seems to be counted. It means as you told posting 10 blogs a day really counts. But also we need to make sure that the page is recently updated. Which means, I think I need to post them every week or once in four days. Otherwise we cannot wait for three month period of google page rank update wherein we would have posted 900 posts if we post them daily.
Also it looks like the content is playing a role which I am unable to understand. But it needs experiments with google to learn it.

Last time I move my blog from friendster blog, which currently have around 170 post, thats whay I am able to post 10 a day and I edit the time stamp based on the original blog. One day post on one blog its good as well. keep on experimenting and good luck.

It’s almost true… I don’t know if in one week Google has time to update their indexes for your new site but in a couple of weeks probably yes,
The last two months I was playing with my new site, optimizing URLs and web pages, SEO, links, etc…. and I have PR=3, only spending a couple of hours by week, I’m too busy these days…

I think the title is overhyped. If you follow the steps you’ll get at least a PR1 but it’ll only happen when Google updates their indexes (which doesn’t happen every week).

If you didn’t put the 1 week into the title it wouldn’t be overhyped. Its because 1 week isn’t realistic. Unless you get really lucky and Google updates their PR in a week it won’t happen you have no control over how long it takes.
While I think these tips are very useful the post is just over hyped because of the time constraint.

What you are saying is simply not true.
Linking is crucial for placement on serps and pagerank. But this doesn’t mean that google updates the pagerank toolbar after a week, just for you. In fact, the the true answer to that is that nobody really knows when google updates it. http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html attempts to guess when it’s about to happen, but the information on that site is incorrect as well. So what it comes down to is that pagerank is not updated the same rate as things get crawled and indexed

Usually sites new sites get some PR until the next update when Google can see if the site deservers or not the PR.

I’ve done it in 2 weeks using almost the same technique. As long as the keywords you are going for are niche it can be accomplished. Adsense is unneccessary for this to work though. There’s some big rumour that adsense helps you get ranked higher on google. This is simply not the case.
Digg, Google Webmaster Tools and a Sitemap are definately fundamental elements for this though.

Above poster is right, I see it too. http://askax.net is PR0. That’s strange. http://www.askax.net redirects to the non-www version.

also I redirect www to no www so that the PR getting better if we just using 1 default.
